New to Church?
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
At the moment during this COVID-19 Crisis - we meet online at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. If you would like a link send us an email and we'll straight across. There is not pressure to engage, you can switch your camara and mic off and watch and listen. We look forward to connecting with you. We also post a short message every Sunday morning on Facebook and YouTube.
Normally, in none COVID-19 times, our Church meets every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. for our Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
We meet at:
The Lighthouse
Moorland Road
Stoke-on-Trent ST61DW
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be a time of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible. There will be a preach with a chance to respond at the end of the service.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
What happens to the kids at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for:
Creche (0 to 4years). Children must be accompanied by their parent/carer at all times.
Kids Church (Primary school children)
Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the serivce. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme.
For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
Where can I park?
If you are coming by car, you can park in front of the church (please note that charges apply Monday to Saturday) or you could park in our car park, which can be found by turning off Moorland Road onto Doulton Street, then turn right before the council car park and follow the road round and on the right hand side (before the Samaritans) you’ll see a sign saying private car park: that is our car park.
