Update September 2021
Burslem New Sunday

We are now meeting at 5.30 p.m. on Zoom and in the building.

As many of you will also be aware we are now able sing in the church building. Other regulations have also been changed. So for those who are coming to the building please remember:

  • you do not need to book so can just turn up.
  • the left side of the church and the balcony are for those who want to socially distance. On the right side, we are still asking people to respect others space, but strict social distancing will not be enforced.
  • masks are still recommended
  • please also sanitize hands on the way in.
  • everyone will feel different about new guidelines, so please respect others personal space and approach.

Whether it's online or in-person, we'd encourage you to connect in if you are able. For the Zoom code, get in touch.

February 18th 2021
We are pleased to announce we are restarting physical gatherings again from the 21st February. Please see the update for 24th July for more information.

Update 24th July 2020

From Sunday 9th August at 3 p.m., we are going to start holding 'Worship Gatherings' in the building again. Spaces will be limited, and it will feel very different, similar to what you would experience when you go to most public buildings or shops at the moment.  For more information read Socially Distanced Services at Burslem Elim Church. The only way you can enter the building is through the green door at the front and there will be a one way system. If you use the car park, the side gate will be open for you to walk round. Please note that there will not be singing or children's work for the time being. Please remember to wear a face covering unless you medically exempt or under 12 years old.

If you are interested in coming along or helping, please can you let us know so that we can have an idea of numbers (we are not anticipating being over subscribed; however, priority will be given to those who have no internet access, are the only adult in the house and then it will be a first come, first served basis.) To confirm your seat(s) message us on 07817599328 or email the church office through the link.

Each Sunday we are also going to continue to have a short talk on our YouTube Channel and  Facebook page (links at the bottom of the page). Sunday evenings on Zoom will continue to be our main church gathering. Get along if you can; it’s been awesome to see how we can keep encouraging and building each other up.

23rd March 2020

As I’m sure you are aware, we are living in unprecedented times. Church will be looking very different until we come through this pandemic. It’s important that we stay connected during this time. It has been great to see so many connecting with our Zoom sessions over the past week and this will be our main gathering space. If you haven’t joined us yet and you have a smart phone or computer, try it! At the time of the meetings, click on the link, and it will take you through to the meeting. It’s that easy, we promise! If you are having problems, let us know and we will try to help you access it.

Each Sunday we are also going to be putting up a short talk on our YouTube Channel and Facebook page (click here for the link), with some links to worship songs that you may find helpful. Check it out! Sunday evenings will then be about sharing stories together, praying, sharing communion (you need to have your own bread and drink) and connecting.

There is not pressure to engage, you can switch your camera and mic off and watch and listen. We look forward to connecting with you.
